If you buy the right car, this statement makes no sense. Buy are cheap reliable car that has already fully depreciated. I bought a 2011 Lexus Ct200h for $6200 with 178,000 miles on it. It had a new engine and hybrid battery before I bought it. I’m averaging 47 mpg and has close to 230,000 miles on it now. Still worth $6200 or more. Buy the right car and you don’t have to worry about it! I drive around 500-600 miles a week.

Just dropping in to say this works!!! I started off doing most of this but then fell into habit of wearing sweats and only cleaning the car once a week. I always keep cozy jazz playing from my Spotify and a pet friendly febreeze in the car to reset. This would get me compliments but rarely a tip. Today I felt the deep urge to change up and found this video as a fantastic refresher. I just went out for 2 hours implemented business casual wear, bought 2 bags of mints to add to my Uber driver routine. I only received one tip out of my 3 trips so far and it was a $100 all cash 🎉 I have to go and buy more mints since riders took full advantage 😂 Thank you!!!

Totally agree!! I had the same scenario, declined it and came back after 2mins, and the worst part they will hid it in another delivery (2delivers) but still total loss! Definitely not worth it.

I took a chance on a large grocery order delivery for Uber. It originally said 5 bags. Yeah, that 5 bags was probably closer to 50 and at least $400 of groceries. I was pissed, especially when it said leave at the door. I honestly really thought I was going to get stiffed on the tip. Nonetheless, I was professional, stacked the groceries nicely in a good spot and left them a message letting them know where I left the groceries and why and told them to have a good night. I was shocked when I opened the app later and was informed that I was given a $50 tip. You never know, it can pay off. Know your market. I definitely know which cities in my coverage area have better tippers and I definitely exploit those areas.

I got a $20 order for a beer, and wine. Get in the store and the item is not in stock and am a associate said it was not season. I texted the customer for a substitute and they tell me some other driver already picked up the order, was male and was on the way?!?! I call support they cancelled the order. Minutes later I get a request for an order the same customer, same store, different beer. But for $10 I spoke to customer and they said it was really weird. I wonder if they are testing us drivers.🤔

It sounds good, but I just don’t enjoy food delivery. I find it to be a pain in the ass. For me just regular Uber driving with passengers is much easier and more enjoyable. And you have a lot more human interaction. I’ve met many interesting people this way. The food delivery I find not only a pain in the butt, but also boring. And I do not like having to get out of the car and go up to strangers houses or into apartment buildings and knocking on peoples doors.
